A Message from the Director of BEC I-CUBE

Hello, and welcome to BEC I-CUBE!

Our classes here are taught only in English; there will be no Japanese explanations! To master the ability to speak English, it is vital that this rule is followed.

To a student who is just beginning to study English, having no Japanese safety net sounds scary. However, if we give explanations in Japanese during lessons, students will rely on these to understand. They will never be able to communicate in English.

At first, if you don’t understand what the teacher is saying you will feel pretty miserable, right? Perhaps you’ll think that English is impossible, and that you want to give up. But even during these difficult early stages, your brain is hard at work. An English seed has been planted in your head.

Eureka! One day you will understand English for the first time, and it will make you feel wonderful. English has started to sprout in your brain, in a similar way to a young native English speaker learning the language. Day by day, that English sprout will grow larger and a brand new world will open up right in front of you.

By studying at BEC I-CUBE, you will be able to speak English confidently, a skill that will remain with you and be a great benefit throughout your life.

Make the most of your potential!
